By way of introduction, my name is Matt Nicolaysen (Nic-oh-lay-sen) and I am one of the co-founders of Appible LLC. Since I’ll be blogging here regularly I thought I would introduce myself and our blog.

I was born and raised in central California. I’m the youngest of four kids and have two incredible, awesome parents. I have been married for two years and love my wife truly, madly, deeply (most definitely better than this).

I’m finishing up my undergrad in Graphic Design at Brigham Young University – Idaho. Though I am studying graphic design I have varied interests including flying, programming, photography, philanthropy, music, astronomy, cars, how things work, etc. You’ll see a lot of these come through as I write more here on the blog.

Speaking of blogging

Why have a blog on your company website? What will you blog about? Why should I read it?

Here at Appible we believe in social media. We believe that there’s more to business than bean counting. Businesses are all comprised of individuals. People are at the core of everything a business does. Without consumers there would be no need for your business. Without your business your employees wouldn’t have jobs. Allowing those individuals to express themselves is important to the company culture and to the morale of the team.

That is why we blog.

What do we blog about? Anything. Everything. If it’s interesting, important or entertaining we’ll be blogging about it. We’ll try to stay out of our personal lives and in the realm of relevance. We’ll avoid politics and religion if you’ll promise to do the same in your comments.

You should read it because we’re a lot like you. We’ve grown up with trials and triumph just as anyone has. Share our blog with your friends and family. Share your experiences in the comments (so long as you avoid vulgarity, lewdness, bigotry or personal, defamatory comments). We would like to share our everyday moments with you and we would like you to share in return.

We are now accepting applications for the closed beta program. We have begun testing our platform with a live business on a very limited scale. Tests are going well and we are learning an incredible deal from what we have seen so far.

If your company is interested in an app (remember, these apps are multi-platform iPhone, Android, etc) please contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.

We will soon be entering a closed beta of our new mobile application management website.  A few more weeks and business owners will be able to make changes to their mobile applications straight from their control panel on the web.

We’ll be sure to update with our progress as the project continues to move forward.
